Great device for your receivers that do not come with BlueTooth

This little device is great. If you have a receiver that doesn’t have bluetooth built into it, this thing is great. I attached this to two of my older receivers and now I can play music from my phone to the pool area and inside the house on the main system that accompanies the home theater area. I used the RCA ports for the CD/DVD player inputs and the sound is great. Now I can broadcast all my favorite toons via my cell phone to the house, or outside near the pool. Small, but powerful, I like it. I have had these for about a month now, and they seem to be working fine.

pros - price - easy pairing - rca and 3.5mm jack - you can turn off the blue led. there is a on off switch! - very good audio quality Cons - none as of yet I have an old galaxy s4 phone that i’m using as a music server (internet radio and mp3 player) to hook up to a tivoli audio networks stereo setup. the sound quality is just as good as the internal radio tuner of the tivoli. i can tell the difference between 64kb/s, 96kb/s and 128kb/s broadcasts. the accessories that come with this marvel is worth the 10dollars i paid for it. (frankly, i wasn’t expecting a plug in adapter) very satisfied customer

We are hitting the road soon in our custom built van and we needed this item so we could play our music of choice. It is everything it claims to be. There is even a few youtube videos up that shows how easy the set up if you want to bypass the instruction manual. I’m sure we are going to find more uses for it as we travel and around the house for this fine product in the coming days.

I haven’t used it yet, however Fospower wanted a review, so here is my review. Looks nice, came with all cables and a power adapter. Did plug it in and the Bluetooth connected. Haven’t actually ran audio thru it. When I have a chance to do complete test, I will revise the review

Older receiver has new life!!

I have an older receiver which I didn’t want to part with or upgrade to a newer version but I wanted to stream music in the house on the high end speakers. So by spending my lunch money for the day I was able to install this little hokey puck to the old system and have it working in less than 5 minutes. Now I’m sitting here listening to Amazon streaming music and typing out this review. The blue led lights can be annoying but guess what, they can be turned off with the switch. Nice product at a nice price and the old receiver has new life.

Works great, clear instructions. Only minor downside is the blinking blue light, which tells you it’s alive and working or blinks in rhythm to the music. There’s no way to turn the damn thing off, and in a bedroom it would make anyone crazy. Maybe in a living room. Black electrical tape solves the problem if it bugs you, but an actual off setting for the blue LED would be a heck of a lot easier.

Almost Perfect For Turning Old School Speakers to BLUETOOTH Speakers!!

Let me get real for a moment. When I agreed to review this - I had NO FLIPPIN’ clue what it was or what it would do. I have 2 "geeks" living with me - so I wasn’t too worried. But even with them - we had to Google how to use it. What we ended up using this for....... We have a set of 3 speaks in my combo kitchen, dinning and office area. They are old school and wired and take up way too much space on my desk. But needed it handy so we can plug in our phone or iPod to play music. What this enabled us to do. We were able to place our speakers above our kitchen cabinets (I have power plugs up there). Plug this device into the speakers when turned them into BLUETOOTH speakers!!! Now we "pair" our phone etc to this "receiver" (that is plugged into our speakers) and we can now play music wireless. No more plugging in our phone to the speakers!!! HOW COOL IS THAT!!!! I’m just a little too excited about this!! The only CON. If we leave the receiver "on" and ready to be paired at any moment - it makes a "beep" at us every minute or two. I guess looking for that device to "pair" to. So we have the power shut off to this receiver and do have to climb up to the top of cabinets to turn on before each use. Yes it is a PIA and a CON. But I do still think this receiver is pretty amazing and glad we have it!!!!!!! Yet IS a big enough CON for me to dock 1 star :( Rarely will you see a 5 out of 5 star rating as I can almost always find a small flaw or two to note lowering the rating. So even 4 out of 5 stars is a GOOD product! Everyone needs to read through the entire review & not rely solely on "stars", to see how it will fit your own particular needs. Relying on other’s reviews I see written is important to me when making purchases; so being very honest with my own, is just as important. It has become a hobby and makes my day if it helps others!
