What can you say about a y-adapter? I have four of these and use them to split single subwoofer outputs to the two inputs on the subwoofer. (Electrically, it makes no sense to do this, but it’s aesthetically pleasing.) The are heavy-duty and have shown no signs of wear or intermittent connections. The plugs are secure and slide on/off easily. You could do a lot worse than these.

I haven’t owned these long enough to really review how long they last, but I can say that the connectors fit snugly and smoothly. Audio quality seems to not have diminished either. they don’t bend much at all, the cable is pretty stiff, but I like that.

Been using just one channel on my Cerwin Vega Sub for years and upgraded my receiver recently. Bought this to feed the single sub feed into both L/R channels on the Sub. WOW - our sub is very powerful now and had to turn it down a bit to keep the drone down just on normal TV.

Feels cheap, plastic jacket, wouldn’t seem like it has good ir/rf rejection, but put to use as a signal splitter for a subwoofer, works flawlessly. No hum or added sound. Works great. The RCA terminals could use a better design, not the tightest of fits. But compared to Mediabridge or even Monster Cable, the functionality is there.

I got this to connect my subwoofer to my home theater. I had purchased a new sub which is set up for either a 2 wire connection, or 1 wire using a Y adaptor from the system sub out. This Y connector is very good quality and fit the bill perfectly.

I bought 4 of these as a replacement for my current ones that induced some alternator whine. Swapped out with the new ones and whine went away thankfully. Only other change/improvement-vaiable lengths- 6" and 12". The 8" was fine but I would have ordered one of the cables as a 12" for my particular application.

Existing Equipment: Yamaha Aventage Receiver | Aperion Audio Surround Speakers | HSU Sub | Panasonic Plasma TV My subwoofer started to hum on it’s own w/o the system on and I was able to narrow the problem down to the splitter cable running from the receiver into the splitter then into the two sub female ports. Once I replaced the old one with this, all was back to normal. No extraneous noises or humming. This cable also fit perfectly...some seem to be too tight.
