It has a nice finish and seems to work fine. The "Y" is encapsulated in plastic, making it durable I’m sure, but also a bit bulky and stiff if you are tight on space.

Loose male connector causing fault protection to trigger on my amp

I bought two sets of these. On one set the male plugs are too loose to properly maintain their connection to my amp. This means after my amp runs for a couple of hours the heat causes the connector to expand and it then arcs which causes my amps circuit protection to trigger. The way the plugs are manufactured it isn’t possible to put them in a crimper to decrease the radius of the plug without breaking them.

I used this to hook up a mono bass output from a receiver/amplifier to dual inputs of a bass speaker and it sounds great, as expected. The connections feel very secure and it is flexible enough to get it out of the way behind the speaker.
