Can program up to 10 pairs of on/off settings. Could be more intuitive but to keep the price down they use the engineering tricks of cycling through on a button to get the desired setting - like light switches with timers built in or microwave oven clocks and similar devices. I like that it’s quiet unlike the traditional mechanical timers where you depress times that you want active or inactive.

These timers do what they are told

These are not super-easy to program, but once you do it a couple times they aren’t too hard. They perform as hoped. They seem to keep good time, so you don’t have to adjust the clock frequently. Manual mode works correctly, though it’s not intuitive. Whether in on or off mode, it will not toggle to the other mode when placed in auto, until the set time for it to go into that mode. So for example, if I have the following times set: ON-14:00 ; OFF-17:00. Then, sometime after it goes ON at 14:00, but before 17:00 when it goes OFF, I turn it OFF manually then put it back into AUTO- it will stay OFF until it is set to turn on again the next day at 14:00. If I turn it ON manually after 17:00, it will stay ON until the next day at 17:00 when it is programmed to go OFF.

Instructions are a little dicey, but you can figure it out easy enough. Works great, be careful with the "manual" button, it can mess up your auto settings - read the manual, it mentions that. Can set 8 on/off settings per day, different for each day of the week or just one for every day. Perfect for indoor grow op.

I use it to turn on lights outside of the garage every evening and back off after midnight. Complicated to set up and adjust, so whatever you do, don’t lose the instructions. Been very reliable and kept accurate time for the few months I’ve used it. Yes, I would buy it again. Update: After two years the timer now turns the lights on only occasionally. Still set with the original program and the red light indicates that it has turned on. Unfortunately there seems to be a problem with the relay inside of the timer. Lights do not come on unless I unplug and plug it back in. Will be replacing it with something else.

Very little to say about this device. I love it. It works without power (has a battery) so you can program it sitting on the couch. A good thing too because it is not at all intuitive. DO NOT LOSE THE INSTRUCTIONS. Cheap chinese crap like this means that in a couple years this product may not exist. This means there will be no way to find paperwork. It is not intuitive to use at all. I have had to fool w/ it 4 or 5 times for aquarium lighting and every time I felt like an idiot until I had the instructions. There are 2 buttons on it that shouldn’t exist and it is overly complicated. Any preschooler could design ergonomics better, but it works flawlessly so far and I got it wet (aquarium) and no signs of trouble. Really like the battery function.

I love this little timer. I have had many timers over the years for various lights. Some of them simple to use but with only one option of when they turn on and off - some of them complicated to program and still limited on the timer functions. This timer has a big digital display, can support 2 plugs and multiple on off settings. It can also be progabale by the day of the week, which I love as I used it for lights in my office and I only need those lights to go on during the weekdays. Only took a few mins to figure out how to use and has worked great since set up. I will definitely buy this one again if I need a time for another location.

Thanks little timer for the money I got two for under 17 bucks. First off I want to say this is a real review. As we know there’s a lot of fakes out there. Anyways, I bought this for my aquarium set up. I run my UV sterilizer on one of the timers to extend the life of my UV bulb which are very expensive to replace. The other I use in my second aquarium to turn on and off lighting. At first the instructions we’re a bit confusing. But just go on YouTube and watch the video and it’s really really simple. I like the fact that you can set for different days of the week. For example, I run my sterilizer Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. it has several different program settings so I can turn my lights on my aquarium in the morning for a short time turn them off back on in the late evening and back off at dark this coincides with my Full Spectrum Lighting set on blue to simulate sunrise and sunset for my fish. It looks fantastic

I use mine to reset my modem and router bi-weekly after leaving my winter home for a cabin in the woods. Love that it has two outlets and that the rechargeable battery keep the time in the event of a power failure. I have been using it for a couple of months and have found it to be very reliable. I like it so much I bought a couple of spares to use at the cabin for the same purpose, resetting my router. In the past, I have had to contact a neighbor to reset the modem after a power failure when I was traveling...now, I only have to wait a day or two for the reset then I can check my wireless remote cameras to confirm security at my home and vacation home.

I use this for my auto cat feeders so I like that it has a power failure backup. The digital is easier to read than the previous timer I had which had pins you pushed in. Setting it for the first time was a bit complicated and took me a few tries before I got it set. But it’s working and the cats are happy and I’m happy that they don’t wake me at 5 a.m. to be fed!
