We have used these for our Christmas tree, lamps and lights. They have a back up battery which is very nice if the kids happen to unplug, which they have. They are easy to set and read. Happy with them.

No complaints. Easy to read. Buttons easy to press. Let charge a bit before using. These do have a red LED that is on whenever the device has turned its plugs on. Keep in mind the two outgoing plugs cannot be programmed separately but turn on and off together.

you know that annoying ticking a regular timer makes. If you have them running at night it’s even louder. Well, this fixed the problem for me. After reading the instructions and doing an easy program they work quietly in the background. Only had them for a couple of weeks but so far I give it 5 stars

Once I figured out how to set the timer it was easy to set it up to perform the routines I needed.

Broke after ~2.5yrs, unit dangerously is turning itself on at unplanned times

Overall, when the unit was functioning I thought this was a great unit. There are complaints about how difficult it is to program the timing - but this is a common complaint for all products in this category. This unit is no more difficult to program than any other you’ll find - though yes, it isn’t necessarily intuitive and you likely will need to use the manual every time. I found the 2x side plugs particularly appealing, where I used this unit to turn on a small oil filled heater to warm my bathroom each morning. The slide plugs are somewhat unique in this category and saved the cord from sticking out in the way. My major complaint for this unit is after ~2.5yrs of use the unit is now randomly turning itself on at unscheduled hours. At first I thought my wife may have bumped the buttons inadvertently and reprogrammed it - but after closely looking at the instructions I can see that the unit has become defective. This is potentially dangerous!!

I bought this timer to control a grow light I use for vegetables. I found it very easy to program and it is working perfectly for me. I’ve read reviews on this site that complain it’s difficult to configure, but I found it very simple and have no idea why people are finding it confusing. I didn’t even need to read the directions.

I really like the simplicity of the design, the readability of the display and having two, 3-prong outlets on either side. I would have given 5-stars if the programming were a little more intuitive; a simple caveman like me really should be able to program a digital timer without the use of the owner’s manual, yes?
