Beware of the large plug shape

I was excited about a short extension cord. It is 3 prong and the plug that goes into the wall outlet is a large oblong shape. It can only be plugged into the bottom plug of an outlet. You cannot plug into the top without covering up enough of the bottom so that no other cord can be plugged it. The fact that it is 3 feet is terrific. The design needs improvement.
